Warm Hearts School For Creative Thinkers Transportation Policies
Your trust means everything to us. These policies are in place to ensure safe, smooth, and respectful transportation for every child. By registering for our services, you agree to follow the policies outlined below.
Transportation Guidelines

All drivers are at least 21 years old.

All drivers hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.

Each child will be checked in upon entering and checked out upon exiting the vehicle.

Vehicles are safety-checked before every trip and maintained regularly by certified mechanics.

Children will be seated in age- and size-appropriate car seats or booster seats when required.

Children will be picked up at the designated van pickup area at school. There is a 3-minute pickup window. Drivers cannot leave the vehicle or search for children.

If a child is not in the designated pickup area at the scheduled time, we will not return to pick them up.

All transportation vehicles will be clearly marked with the Warm Hearts Transportation business name.
Parent Guidelines

Warm Hearts will coordinate with schools and teachers to ensure children are waiting safely at the designated van area.

Parents/guardians must notify Warm Hearts of any transportation changes in advance.

Payments will not roll over from week to week. All payments must be made in advance.

A schedule of two or more days per week is considered full-time.

Weekly tuition is due Friday by 5:00 PM to ensure transportation service.

Payments made after 5:01 PM on Friday will incur a $30 late fee.

A fee will be charged if a driver arrives and the child is not present ("blank trip").

A $20 fee will be charged for any pickup or drop-off changes.

Drivers cannot return to school to retrieve forgotten items.

Parents must notify Warm Hearts Transportation at least two weeks in advance of early dismissals, no-school days, or teacher workdays. Notification must be provided in writing.

Parents must notify Warm Hearts Transportation if their child is ill. The student must wait 24 hours before returning to the van, and written notice is required.

Unpaid fees may result in the loss of your child’s transportation spot to someone on our waiting list.

Transportation may be canceled due to severe weather. Parents will be notified promptly.

All enrollment forms must be completed and submitted before transportation can begin.

All fees are Non- refundable, Non transferrable, and no exchanges. All fees including late fees must be paid in full before services can begin.

Warm Hearts will not accept partial payments.
Child Behavior Policy
To ensure the safety of all passengers, the following behavior expectations must be followed:

Children must remain seated at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

Seat belts must be worn at all times unless directed or assisted by the driver.

Children may engage in light conversation but are discouraged from yelling or excessive noise.

Eating and drinking are not permitted on the vehicle.

All backpacks and personal items must be placed in the front seat with the driver.

Only the driver is permitted to operate windows.

Children must keep all body parts to themselves—no hitting, biting, or touching others.

Misbehavior will be reported to parents. If the behavior threatens safety, the child will be suspended immediately.

A one-week suspension may be issued for serious infractions. Tuition is still due during suspension.

Continued misbehavior after returning may result in permanent removal from transportation services.

All fees are non-refundable.
